Would like to wish all my readers a very Happy Valentines Day!

I guess I'll be spending this year's one with my pals again. But at least this year, I did something for someone.

To be honest, I'm not sure how much of an impact or dent I've made. But I hope it did. I can't ask for much now either anyway. But what I can do is start from scratch and see where it goes then and its rather hard as well given that I barely know her :/

But to try is better than to sit on the fence and wait. She strikes me as a really awesome girl!

Wow! Its been on hell of a long since I've updated! Why? The past week has been fantastic/hectic/Stress! Why? Chinese New Year + a mountain of projects and tests hounding me all at the same time. And today, I've finally cleared my final major project!

SO, lets start with CNY! Where do I begin man? hmmmm I visited more houses than I did this year! and at every house, it was pure, awesome fun! Gambling, steamboat, music, laughing, Wii, sparklers, hanging out, catching up......that's why I love CNY. Its always fun for me and even if I lose money at gambling, I still have so much fun! and I always win it back! But in the end I still lost a small amount of money in total.

Visited kenji's, Peixiang's, Christina's, Joe's, Mak's, Junkai's, Kelvin's, joe's and so many more! This CNY was indeed one of the best in years!

Surprisingly, there are very little photos as most of em are at JK's side. I was too busy enjoying to take tons of pictures. But here are a few!

Hell week is over! And all that is standing between me and freedom is 1 test, 1 exam and 1 driving test. I'm more worried about my driving test than my school exams! HAHA! Hey! Its expensive to fail! and its been almost 2 weeks since my last lesson and I resume tomorrow and my first circuit the day after. I worry alot for my parking really. =/ oh well! Keep calm and concentrate!

Chinese new year!

Would like to wish all my readers, friends, loved ones a very prosperous Chinese new year! The spring cleaning's done, the snacks are all laid out, the coin pouch is full of coins for gambling and most importantly! ANG POWS. Nothing like feeling so awesome when you receive an angpow only to find purple notes inside HAHA.

More updates and pics as CNY progresses! So stay tuned to this space!

This year's Chinese new year is different, Usually for the past few years, dad and ma always had to go to work after bai nian-ing or even before CNY, they'd be stuck at work only to come back feeling all worn out and weary.

But ever since They moved on to better jobs, For once in probably about 7 years, My parents are in so much better spirits now and we can sit down together as a family to have our reunion dinner. Its been a long time since I've seen them this happy which is a good start to CNY!

I was having dinner with my dad and suddenly he told me "Son, do you know how proud of you am I?" he proceeds to ramble on how he always told his pals about me and stuff like that, how grandma always said that I was a filial son (Not being thickskinned here :) ) His expression and tone was so...I don't know how to describe. Something like you have just struck the lottery. Beaming with pride? I guess that's the word to describe it.

Its then I realised that, Although my dad isn't rich or famous or whatever that is you link to being materially rich. The minute he talks about his family, its like he's won a billion bucks, you can see it in him. Which is really really heartwarming.

You may be rich materially, but eventually, material can run out. Family doesn't.

Even for the other families that go through tough and rough times, quarreling, fighting....its still family. Like that dad always told me as I grew up: "If you took mine and your blood and placed them together, it would stick". Understanding family is key especially when we grow up in an age where some of our parents still stick to thier traditional values in a modern world and they are stubborn or resistant to change.

I mean every parent has thier own reason for doing things they do. Be it whether they like it or not. So why not this CNY, Aim to cherish your family more? :)

Wow its been ages since I've updated! I've been so so so busy and caught up with mountains of never ending school work!

But of course I still do take time to rest and relax! I celebrated Janice's birthday over at TGIF! No group pics yet so I'll just tempt you readers with pictures of food porn. I must I back there again for their ribs!

Had supper with the PLR gang over @ Chomp Chomp! Its my first time there and I must say the food there is awesome! Some of the must trys are the satays and beancurd! and their sugarcane mugs are the biggest I've seen in my life! and I really love the atmosphere there! Its like a mini Holland V smack right in central singapore!

I've been sticking to a healthier diet and regular excercise these 2 weeks and I must say that, I feel more alert and refreshed in general rather than really lethargic in the mornings, surprise surprise! I'm falling asleep in lectures lesser as well! I love this new feeling!

And my first video cover for the year 2012! Now on Youtube! I took this clubbish/R&B song and made my own acoustic version of it! Do like it if you LIKE it! HAHA :) and be kind and help share da love around! I hope you guys enjoy it!

First week of 2012

Sooooo its friday and the first week of 2012 has come to an end! I started my exercise regime that I promised myself I'd stick too for a better looking and fitter me (Chey) by the middle of this year and I'm already starting to show improvements in terms of stamina and weight loss!

Another thing of note this week is that I took part in NYP's open house 2012! It was tons of fun listening to great music performed by SIT's very own! Kinda wished I said yes to performing for the open house back last year. Nevermind! Still got chance next time. :)

I also hopped by over to SP after my shift at NYP to join Christ, YJ and KS to help them out with any poly questions they had in their minds. But I must say that SP's budget for this year's open house is mind blowing. It makes NYP's open house kinda sucky when you do the comparisions. =/

Oh well thats it for the first week of 2012!

And the one "Extra" week of holidays from school.

Beginning next week, utter hell begins, Mountains of project deadlines and tests to complete. It ain't gonna be easy but HEY! The final stretch before I enter my final year in NYP!

Lets fucking do this.

Would like to wish all my readers, friends and

2012!

What better way to usher in the year surrounded with awesome pals, food, drinks and this year, I'm surrounded by one more thing! Fireworks! We had the view of three firewoks firing at the same time at the strike of midnight. It was amazing.

Mak picked this balloon up and we wrote all our wishes, hopes and dreams onto it and cast it away into the sea. Where it goes? nobody knows :)

I hope 2012 will shape up to be a another awesome year for me. Instead of making so many resolutions, I took a few really important ones and kept them with me. Must fufill!

Lets start on a new page, lets draw what we imagined, lets add colours to it. Lets make 2012 an unforgettable year! In a good way of course!

A Chapter Ends

So, 1 day left in 2011, another 365 days will soon pass and then, we'll usher in the new year with good cheer. So I took the time to sit back and think about what I did in the year 2011. Do note that these are all key points. To sum every small detail would mean I'd be publishing harry potter 11. So if you no like long posts. I'd rather you skip this post. :)

I remember visiting tons of places in 2011, and most of them were in Singapore! However this year was spectacular when you talk about where I actually went too.

I went to Qian Hu with the PLR gang . Which is located at a very very ulu part of Singapore to well go fishing and look at fish! It was a really awesome experience to be able to do "Kampung style" Fishing and ogle at pretty looking fish!

After almost a decade, I finally visited the Singapore zoo as well! As a wee little primary school boy I remember being utterly fascinated the white tigers and elephants. Now, When I go back, I'm amazed how much the zoo has changed. The addition of new animals and a revamp of the zoo made the experience awesome!

When I first heard about the KTM railway that connects singapore to malaysia was being torn down, I told myself I had to visit the railway before it was all gone. Luckily, 4 weeks prior to its demise, we were allowed to walk on the tracks for the entire route. So with a few good friends, we trekked down the the tracks. What I found walking on those tracks was amazing, I've seen a part of Singapore that you could never ever see nowadays, pure lush greenery, really old and vintage structures long lost and has since then been reclaimed by nature and such amazing wildlife!

It was a really peaceful to walk down those tracks that seemed to go on forever in the distance whilst surrounded by nature that has been untouched by man. For a moment, it didn't feel like Singapore. We wrote our names on the bridges and tracks and left them there to fate. We became a part of history. Now where the tracks once stood now lies nothing but flat ground. Quite sad to see that actually. Considering the KTM's history.

In September, I was given an opportunity to visit korea. I took it up! and hence, Korea is the very first country I visited via plane and the first time I've taken a plane...alot of firsts for me actually haha. Although it was a short 5-6day trip. The memories made are priceless. The scenery, people, culture, food and friends I've made there...man, it really made me want to save up and go backpacking to other countries in the future.

While in Korea, I also met alot of awesome people on the trip and two honorable mentions (LOL) would be Michelle and Ben. Love these peeps man, Hootette and Tree HAHAHA :p

I took a picture with Mr Yam Ah Mee! During one of the school community events, That dude is a rock star man, he received louder cheers than the Prime Minister HAHAHA

I visited the best Halloween event I've ever been too in years, with Yijie's help, we secured tickets to visit Halloween horrors 2011 @ universal studios Singapore! My god the "Vengeance of the Matriarch" got me screaming like a litle bitch and I was amazed at how they transformed a particular part of the park into a apocalyptic zone filled with zombies! RWS pulled out all the stops to make this Halloween event the one that I'll remember for years to come.

One of the last places I visited in 2011 would be this abandoned army camp in the northern part of Singapore with JK, YJ, KS and me! As this army camp dates all the way back to world war 2, Some of the structures were collapsing and it painted a very nostalgic yet eerie picture.

Who said Singapore had nothing to explore? All you need is the adventurous spirit and curiosity and you'll discover places and things in ways an average Singaporean won't :)

In my journey as a guitarist/singer, I've made incredible improvements and produced quite alot of cover videos in 2011. I bought myself a more better sounding and looking guitar and she play's like a dream! I've also started teaching basic guitaring to a few people as well. 2011 was an amazing year for me if you talked about guitaring.

Just before 2011 ends, my soundcloud (Place where I upload most of my covers at) Has reached 20,000 views. Its an incredible milestone for a guy who thought 1 year ago, he'd never hit 2000 views. hope 2012 will continue to be an amazing year in my journey in music. I've also begun driving lessons with my final test date being somewhere in February next year. I hope I pass on first try. Its expensive to fail you know!

Life in 2011, Generally it was fucking amazing. Definitely, there has been a few really rough patches, regrets, heartbreaks. However, its with these hard knocks that give me the best life lessons. Its all part and parcel of life. Met awesome new people, realised how two-faced/shallow/superficial/Judgemental some people can get. But hey, I may say this about some people but I'm no angel either. So there. They probably have their own stories of me as I would have of them. But hey, I do what I think is right and everything I do has a reason behind it. :)

And its life's little moments that make everyday (Although I hate school but not some of the people in there) a joy to wake up too and a learning experience :)

So here I go, in day 365 of 2011. I bid adieu to 2011, and as I work towards the end of this post, I realised that 2011 shaped up to be a damn awesome year for me, and as I begin to close this chapter of my life, I eagerly await to see what lies ahead.

So, what's gonna happen in 2012?

Only one way to find out :)

Merry Christmas!

Firstly I would like to wish all my readers a very merry and blessed Christmas! and as I have enjoyed my christmas, I hope you have enjoyed yours as well!

Christmas celebrations started 4 days early for me! Starting with the usual secondary school gathering on the 22nd. It was a pity Nad couldn't make it! Had so much fun catching up with them! and this time round we ordered FOUR 14 inch Canadian pizzas and a variety of assorted finger foods. Needless to say, everyone was stuffed like a christmas turkey! and kudos to lee lian to initiating the mystery christmas gift exchange! It was fun to watch! and of course the after party drinks and gambling!

Went over to Darren's chalet on the 23rd with the PLR gang for BBQ and of course drinks again HAHA, Had fun lepak-ing and playing guitar with Vincent & ben!

Christmas eve! Went to countdown with the PLR gang @ Timbre, we had their famous thin-crust pizzas, buffalo wings and of course, an ice cold class of Erdinger dark! I tell you man, if you haven't been to timbre or already been there but have yet to try the above mentioned foods, Jesus Christ! What the hell are you waiting for? Rush down to one of their outlets now and try it! Trust me, you would be hungry for seconds. TOTALLY WORTH IT! together with good music and company, we quietly ushered the rather chilly Christmas with the toasting of our mugs.

After that, we slowly walked in the light drizzle all the way to Marina Mandarin to Club 98. Not gonna talk much about this here :x But it was really awesome walking in the very light drizzle + cold weather. It almost feels like snow touching your skin as the sounds of light splashes punctuate the chilly night as we walked over the occasional puddle.

and of course, CHRISTMAS DAY! Despite the crazy night I had, I suprisingly managed to wake up in the early afternoon with the voice of a black man to spend this special occasion with my family and my cousins and relatives and of course one of my motivations of waking up is because my aunt makes these FUCKING delicious Lasagnas and Spaghetti's and pork ribs and a whole lot of other stuff. Yes I'm a pig, so sue me.

But I still enjoy going back there, I really feel the warmth, love and Christmas spirit there. Its something that is rather sacred. Its this short period of time where everyone forgets their life's worries, gathers to spread the cheer and laughter and of course good food! Not to mention watching the children tear open thier presents like savage beasts and to see their eyes light up with happiness when they find the shiny new toy in thier hands. Its such a wonderful feeling and I'm sure that there are people that would agree with me on this. And Tanya got me this bottle of absolute that has aged for quite a few years now, its probably very potent. But thats how I like my vodka, neat and strong. THANKS TANYA

Christmas is more than receiving gifts or going on drinking streaks like what i did for the past 4 days HAHA. It all boils down to who you spend it with. Although i spent christmas with friends and family, it was still in a way a christmas without a special person to spend it with.

But who knows? Things may change next year :) Till then, I'll be there with a mistletoe and hot chocolate for the special girl.

I didn't go to church. Couldn't wake up in time for mass :p Like what my dad says, "All you need is faith" HAHA I like this phrase.

and hey! as of now, only 5 more days remain to a brand new year. So why not take this time to reflect & reminisce on 2011?

HOLIDAY

YES indeed. After 9 tortuous weeks of school, The holidays, well term break, well um Doing project break is here! HAHA I'll probably spend half my holidays doing shitty projects as how poly always intended it to be.

But hell! This term break contains Christmas and a countdown to a brand new year! And what better way to kick start the term break than celebrating with friends! I went over to this rather small but unbelievably chic looking hotel tucked in a quite corner of Clarke quay to celebrate Kok's birthday. Needless to say, with my this particular bunch of awesome bros, Hard liqour is always abundance! Got to drink Jagermeister & red bull! One of my favorite poisons! Man what happened after that was fucking hilarious. But not intended for blogging HAHA

Needless to say this hotel is the perfect place to bring a valentine's date on or the girlfriend for a quick getaway. The atmosphere is just wonderful! Noted this place down.

HAPPY BRITHDAY KOK! Brace yourself for the impending doom of unglam Facebook pictures bro.

And I can't wait for Christmas! Everywhere I go, Especially the city, roadsides decked in the best Christmas decor and Christmas music everywhere! and to add to the already amazing atmosphere, it has been raining the past few days making nights rather cold! The perfect conditions for Christmas if you ask me!

and I would like to wish my mum a very blessed birthday today! Thanks for being the best mum in the world! Wouldn't have been the person I am today without you, I love you mum! I'm planning a surprise for her later. Hope it succeeds!

Happily ever after

On a wet sunday morning, I attended my cousin's ROM at this rather classy restaurant @ esplanade. Man the food was fantastic! From the main dishes down to the desserts!

I also would like to congratulate my cousin Tanya too! Have a long lasting marriage and may it get even better as the years roll on! Time really flies. One moment, everyone is still in their school uniform and the next thing you know, You're attending a wedding of a person you grew up with. :)

After that, I went to meet Michelle and we both headed on over to kallang theater to watch Ben's Dance production! I didn't realise Kallang Theater had such an rich history! Since the 1970s! The production was awesome and it was certainly enjoyable as we caught a rare glimpse of Ben's dancing! Awesome stuff!

Tomorrow, I can finally get one more ICA out of my hair and relax for the rest of the week as I await the holidays! However, the holidays are going to be crammed with school projects! -_______________-

But Hell I ain't gonna spend all of my holidays staring at my computer screen why I plan to pack it full of events! night cycling, Christmas, gatherings, countdowns etc and it all begins on a high note on Friday night!

What can I say? The party animal in me is about emerge again. O_O

Godammit I missed zoukout 2011. But at least I didn't miss the eclipse! It was beautiful man.

Milestone

Man! I caught the flu bug! on such a perfect weekend! As the MRT lines opened 24 hours over the weekend, it meant I could be out all night partying and not to worry about transport home! Hell! I could even go back home, change and go back to town again to party!

But Alas, I came down with flu and a mild sore throat. On the bright side, I took an MC today which meant for once in a long time, months even. I have a sunday to myself. Just rolling around in bed, strumming a few songs out on the guitar and simply, resting well. :) Sad right I got to take MC in order to enjoy my weekends.

Well speaking of guitar, Even before I started out guitaring, I grew up listening to Extreme's "more than words" and dreamed of playing this song someday on the guitar.

When I did start learning the guitar, I really wanted to play this song but due to the complexity of the song at that time, it sounded off and not in tune! However after discovering the wonderful sound of finger-picking and months of practice, I've done it! Damn I feel so accomplished!

But this is only the beginning! I must train myself to sync my playing and singing with this song. Its pretty damn hard to achieve this now as I'm only able to do either at once but I will definitely strive to accomplish this feat. Blah blah less words, more music! Enjoy! To pursue what we want most because it means taking risks and even facing failure. But to pursue your passion with all your heart and soul is success in itself. The greatest failure is to have never really tried.

Oh and have you tried Starbucks Christmas menu line up? You have got to try their Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha! Its absolutely fantastic! It sure helped drum up the Christmas spirit! Seriously, its that good!

Beautiful life

This particular cat who always loitered round' My bro's void deck since 2008 and everytime when we sit downstairs while my bro lights a cigarette, we sit down and chat. This cat will always come by and sit next to me, sometimes even falling fast asleep as I pat and rub its head. A soft purr is heard as he sits there looking at god knows what. Good company I would say

My absolute favorite local Artist Corrine May is releasing her new album somewhere early next year! I can't wait for it! Been listening to her since my secondary school days. If I could mention her music in a sentence, It would be "In a class of her own".

Her music is just so beautiful and soothing. Some of her songs have a bit of christian influences in it but nevertheless, her music has pulled me through tough times and sleepless nights. Very meaningful lyrics as well.

She is truly a gem in Singapore's rather small music scene! and she recently performed her new song for the Singapore radio awards. It was mad awesome! This song is going to be one of my favorites when the album hits stores.

Best listening times are at night or troubled :)

As of now, its the 29th of November! You know what that means? One more day to the month of Christmas! The only month where your diet plan won't work and your liver will work even harder with all the drinks and of course more importantly, the Christmas spirit! I have a wee bit of the Christmas spirit in me already! and its bound to increase as the dates loom closer!

My blog is now snowing too! For that extra touch (Its not working currently due to my blog picture thing. Will try to get it up and running soon) :) and Added new songs to the player, mostly rock songs but damn good ones! and added more photos that I took with my cousin's DSLR. Man I really gotta save for one once my driving finishes. I miss taking photos with an DSLR.

Take the wheel

I sat down, looked straight, Pressed the clutch, balanced the accelerator and the car slowly moved at a slow pace. I went for my very first driving lesson today. My god its so fun! Although it was tricky in the first half hour especially with the wet weather. by then, I'm able to change to second gear and make turns and simple reverses! But of course like any other beginner driver, I did stall my car a few times due to me being too excited.

The instructor said that if I continued learning at this fast pace, I would most probably be ready for my TP somewhere in February next year! That's pretty good news!

I still can't really grasp the three point turn or reverses yet but I'm willing to learn! can't wait for my next lesson!

After my lesson, I accompanied Michelle to buy her first acoustic guitar. Went to numerous shops round town, test played tons of guitars, and I had my crispy chicken. Yum!

I'm still contemplating on whether I should grab an electric guitar. But seeing as I have to save for driving lessons and everyday spending, I shall make do with my acoustic first!

Oh and our CRM teacher just dropped an ICA equivalent of an Atom Bomb on our heads. Man this ICA is super heavy man. This already tough school term is about to get even rougher.

Acoustic Sessions

So after like 4 semesters of trying, the nurses finally found my goddamned vein and finally donated blood for the first time. I hope my blood does save a life out there. I have no idea why but ever since the blood donation, I'm more energetic and alert. Could be because of the new blood that my body created to replace the lost blood?

I taught Michelle her first lesson on playing the guitar together with Ben, Hilda and Joey! Had a fun time teaching her and Jamming together with Ben! Loved his fill when I was playing "I'm Yours"!

You gotta love acoustic sessions man, People come together, share song's they've learnt, playing together, singing together, making up your own versions of the song. Music really brings people together!

I met my ITE pals for a rather filling dinner at the newly opened Astons in Iluma followed by an epic movie named Immortals, The storyline was alright but the fight scenes were EPIC, bloody, gory and alot of slo-mos. 7.5/10 stars!

I'm look forward to this coming wednesday! Its gonna be my first driving practical lesson! But I just realised that if I get my license, I don't think I'll have a car to drive. Well not at the moment at least. I'm looking into options :)

Oh and I plan to cycle to punggol Point walk and park, I've seen pictures of that place. Its breathtaking, anyone wants to join? ;)

Little Moments

The weather for past few weeks have been nothing but heavy showers coupled with the occasional thunder and lightning. Most of the time, the rain always inconveniences us especially when we don't have an umbrella.

But I still love rain though. Something bout the "pitter-patter" sound it makes when it hits the ground that's so soothing that it lulls me back to sleep at the expense of my attendance HAHA. This is best experienced on a lazy afternoon when you have nothing to do. Even if you have things to do, heck! Just let your head hit the pillow, hide under the covers and let the rain do the rest!

The best part is when the rain stops. I've always noticed that the world around me seems more quieter, roads, trees, everything looks a shade darker as its still wet. So much more contrast is added. Its in a way, beautiful.

I remember cycling from tampines to east coast park with my bros just after it rain stopped, it was so relaxing and cooling! As I cycled, the cold sea breeze blew against my face and listening to the sound of the waves crashing nearby as we cycled to bedok jetty.

Maybe some may think I'm siao as to think of rain like this. But its these little moments in life that you must really enjoy. No person can truly live life without appreciating the little moments that happen their lives. Be it you see an elderly couple holding hands & strolling together, or when someone does something nice for you or you see a bunch of kids running like Ki siao all over the place having the time of their lives.

Little moments are important, sometimes its these little moments that you remember for life. :)

So I've finally jump started my journey to get a driver's license after about 2 months since I passed FTT. I'll have to start planning carefully as this is the final leg of the journey. I hope to pass the TP on first try. Failing is damn costly! Honestly, I can't wait to start learning how to drive a car!

Went over to orchard to catch Tin Tin with the PLR gang. I grew up reading and watching tin tin and this movie was absolutely fantastic! The whole show was entertaining, action-packed and hilarious and being an animated show, the visuals are the best I've seen so far. Words cannot describe the visuals! You must see for yourself to believe! I highly recommend this show! 9.5/10 stars

and as my blog title states, hell everyone on earth is stating that. As of now, yesterday's date and at the correct time, it showed, 11:11 11/11/11. Special date innit? Yeah and I missed both 11:11 timings and by the time something like this were to happen again, I'll be dead by then HAHA.

Everyone makes a wish, hoping that with this really significant date, maybe their wishes will come true. Well it won't really come true, but if it does, good for you!

Although I always see 11:11 am/pm purely by coincidence, I always make a wish automatically. Why? Well I don't have the answer to that. Maybe the word is hope. Hope that somehow with hard work, a bit of luck and a dash of fate, this "Wish" comes true.

Monday was a holiday! But it wasn't a long weekend holiday for me though. Work took away Saturday and Sunday from me! :(

But nevertheless, Monday started out awesome with clear blue skies and at town with Mak as I needed to go back to H&M to exchange an item. Ended up paying more because there wasn't any left in stock! After that, I went over to MBS. Its only been a few months since I stepped into MBS and it has changed so much with more of the shops opening and of course, its museum! I really want to visit the museum!

After that, I went back to town to meet up with the Korean Trip Peeps for a fantastic dinner and a round of dunkel over at holland V! Had an awesome time with them! Credits to Michelle and mantou for the pictures! Looking forward to the next outing!

Well I haven't been updating often now am I? Well school has been hectic ever since the new semester started with the business modules throwing shitloads of projects and ICAs in my face. But I still find time to enjoy life.

Been out at about with pals recently. Like that awesome dinner I had with Michelle and Ben! or That time when I went pubbing at a thai pub with the PLR gang...the list goes on and on. Now when the semester is still in its "easy" stage. Its best to meet and catch up with everyone before all hell breaks loose!

I went to a small primary school reunion on friday! Man its been almost 8 years since I've seen them and it was awesome to see and catch up with them again! Everyone really did change! HAHA its a pity some were in the army or busy to make it. I hope to catch up with the rest soon as well! We went over to bedok 85 for some really fantastic food and went for bowling afterwards.

A friend confided in me yesterday. I'd never expect this friend to break down.

As this friend poured everything out, at the back of my mind, memories of that happening to me begun to creep out from that dark dark confines of my head.

I'm no stranger when it comes to this. But unfortunately by experience, I learnt how to "forget". But the truth is, we don't forget. Well at least for me, I never forget. Instead I bury all these shitty feelings up by enjoying life.

It works. But all you need is that right trigger and all those buried skeletons begin to emerge out.

Yesterday was that trigger.

"But who? Seriously WHO?"

"I don't know. But I know she's out there. She could anyone we meet down the road"

Yet I wondered to myself too, where is that girl? Where is the girl that I'll love to bits? Where?

I refuse to bow down to the fact she ain't out there and I refuse to let this affect my quality of life. Everyone has a choice of whether they want to live their lives in black and white, or full vivid colour.

I choose to life live in vivid color and I plan on keeping it that way.

Halloween horrors

Thanks to Yijie, Me, Mak, Junkai and Zi cong got to experience Universal Studio's first major Halloween event in Singapore, Halloween Horrors!

As we approached the entrance of USS, creepy music filled the entire ground and the minute I stepped into the park grounds, I was amazed! I have never seen universal studios like this before! They literally transformed the park into a scare fest! Scare actors really did a good job scaring unwary people and even the alert people as there was alot of "Fog" which limited our vision. Out of nowhere, a "Monster" will just charge out of the fog and right into your face!

The make up on the scare actors are fantastic! When they charge right infront of you and screaming, you realise thier faces aren't human anymore. Not a single trace of their former self could be identified.

Out of the three scare zones in the park, I loved the post-apocalyptic zone the most! they transformed the new york part of the park into a place where zombies roam. It was impressive! Over turned cars with smoke and fire coming out of it, dead leaves scattered all over the floor, litter and dead bodies lie on the pathway and dozens and dozens of zombies staggering around, running and screaming at unfortunate people.

Then it was time for the haunted house and trail. The first one we visited was the "Vengeance of the Matriarch" It was an hour long queue but it was really worth it. It was the scariest 8 minutes I've ever experienced in my life.When you step through the doors, you see a peranakan house built into stunning detail. An old man stares at you and tells you in chinese to "be careful of the little girl".

the minute we stepped in, things were pretty normal till we stepped into the dining room there was gore EVERYWHERE, and the scare actors are bloody well hidden and you'd never expect them. The environment was dead scary as well, the person sitting there eating the brains of a still alive person that says a friendly hello to you to the girl lying on the bed screaming as blood flows between her legs, a room where you have to push through hanging dead bodies, Each room was a living nightmare as it became more and more twisted. The sound effects were really well timed and each room had a particular smell to it.

To sum up this Haunted house, I've been to quite a few haunted houses especially last year's Spooktactular but NOTHING can beat this haunted house. I was genuinely scared and I admit I screamed like no tomorrow and so did everybody else! HAHA The amount of work & detail put into this house is amazing really.

The second trail was pestilence, it was an outdoor haunted trail and the scares were good but the haunted house set the standard too high. This was quite fun and of course scary!

So we went around taking more pictures! and we got to sit Battlestar galactica! I've sat this so many times but this time round, its different. I sat it at night and the experience is so much more thrilling! When the roller coaster dropped suddenly, I was dropping into the darkness. I couldn't see where was the ground. My heart when up my mouth LOL It was friggin awesome!

This was no doubt the most incredible Halloween event I've ever attended. The Haunted house, the monsters, the atmosphere, the fun I had with my pals. USS made everything believable. It was so so awesome!

Sign me up for next year's event!

Kindness

So I got up at an unearthly hour on a saturday morning. 5AM. Even my fish hasn't woken up and I'm up. Why? I was about to attend project paint.

In this event, we are to help the needy and elderly spruce up thier homes by spring cleaning or painting!

Before we went to our assigned homes, we sat through PM Lee's opening speech and I got to shake his hand and took a picture with him! and of course the infamous yam ah mee! The best part was where yam ah mee received louder cheers from us than PM lee HAHA.

So! after that, we went to our assigned homes. The family we were assigned to was Indian family living in a 2 room flat. I have never entered a 2 room flat before and was shocked by how small is it. Being the leader of an 11 man team was quite stressful as I examined the house and decided what we could do for him.

Soon we got that sorted out and we started "Newspaper-ing" the walls as we were to begin painting the ceiling. I kenna sai kang literally as I was um pointed out to wash the toilet. -.- but joined the rest of the team after that.

So for the next four hour hours, we had quite alot of fun painting and had seemingly endless amounts of nasi lemak for lunch!

After painting, we helped them clean the living room and spruce it up abit.

The owner of the house was an indian man. The first impression of him was that he looked really grumpy and answered in short questions. He had a sister and his aging grandma living with him. It was not only until we were applying the finishing touches when he suddenly smiled thanked us profusely.

He told me that his grandma had trouble walking and his sister, mentally challenged. Its hard to look after them he said. He also said that this is the challenge you'll get when your parents start aging. Well I really respect him for sacrificing so much to take care of his family. Blood does run thicker than water. Well at the end I shook his hand and wished him well and we parted ways.

I'll probably never see him again but I sure do hope life goes easier on him.

It was really an eye opening and rewarding experience indeed! I made new pals, learnt a few lessons in life. I don't mind joining something like this again soon!

Permernant Footprint

Dad suddenly mentioned about grandpa. He said "If only he was still here with us"

I still have very vivid memories of my grandpa, Even though it has almost been more than a decade and a half.

A man of not so much words, He always wore this distinctive square framed glasses, with a polo shirt with a pocket on the left chest, pants and sandals and never went out anywhere without a pack of dun-hills red in his chest pocket.

When I was in kindergarten, he would pick me up and I recall dashing all the way to the bus stop without waiting for him and he would always grumble to my dad on how fast i took off the minute I saw the bus stop!

Whenever he came to visit or brought me out, He always bought my favorite hotcakes from MacDonalds and occasionally, a copy of BUGS! magazine whenever it came out. I absolutely loved that series.

Whenever he struck the lottery, he would always give me more than what my girl cousins would always get :p and he would hand me a single red note and always said in his rough and raspy voice, "Study hard ah boy!"

He was a tinkerer. During those kindergarten holidays spent at grandma's house , I would always sit down with him and watch him tinker with various batteries, wires and switches and various other electronics and watch him in fascination and much to my grandma's horror, I would take his screwdriver and start taking apart various items just to see what is inside! HAHA

Since he worked at a electronics company, he would occasionally bring back mini torchlights for me to play with. I remember this really nice one he brought back, it was oval shaped, red with a blue sticker wrapped around it that had white stars on it!

Then suddenly, he was gone. One of the most important figures in my life just gone just like that. At first I didn't understand or to say it more correctly, I didn't want to believe it.

But as I grew up, I came to accept that everyone is mortal.

And even after more than 12 years, I still remember him as if 1996 was just yesterday. He left this amazing deep and permanent footprint in my heart.

He really did good to the term "Actions speak louder than words".

And I'm gonna help the elderly paint and spruce up their houses this coming Saturday.

Maybe you are wondering why am I so random as to post this.

Rough start

It took be about 3 days to assemble and refine it but its done! My dream car, an Aston Martin DBS. Of course I can't afford the actual $675,000 car yet! So I'll settle for the smaller one. Very much smaller. Version.I really want to own this company's car in the future. The cars they produce are absolutely stunning and classic!

I went out to hardrock cafe with my korea trip pals for some awesome drinks and music. REALLY GOOD music. Hard rock cafe really lives up to its name. With the band energy bringing the house down with really classic rock hits from the likes of Bon Jovi to Aerosmith, Energy's the best live band I've ever seen yet! After that, we slowly walked and talked and laughed all the way to clarke quay for some food and talking into the wee hours of the morning! (Credits to joey for the pictures!)

It turns out that Energy has been around since my dad's NS days! Wow and apparently its quality of music still remains as awesome as it was back then. Will definitely go back there again! It was fucking amazing really.

Alas, the Holidays have come to an end. Sad sad sad. BUT my timetable is way better than last semester and I only take one exam! But the downside? a shitload of projects are about to pile skyhigh.

To top that off, I've come down with a case of food poisoning and gastric flu on the first day of school! I was literally glued to my bed when I managed to crawl back home and see a doctor. Its better now thank god. I hate these sicknesses in particular. One of the most torturous to go through. I still have no idea what I ate that caused this.

Well, with a shitload of projects, started off the semester with food poisoning, bought my books, mentally prepared myself for this one hell of a semester,

Well all holidays have to come to an unfortunate end eventually, after an absolutely AMAZING holiday, its time to hit the books again in 7 days. Sigh. I'm gonna make these 7 days count!

So I went with KK to another japanese buffet at our favorite place to makan Japanese food! And I ate my favorite, bacon-wrapped-around-mushrooms stick and of course, sashimi!

I've recently upgraded my fish tank size to accommodate my fighting fish. He's well damn happy with the new "Bungalow" that I got him!

and after so long, I finally got to catch up with some of the PLR peeps! Went round the city and ended the day with a few brews and one hell of a good time!

I guess you readers should know about the MacDonald's monopoly promotion going on. Well won this! :

The entire set of the macdonals miniatures that they released awhile back. Remember the mini filet ) fish keychain? Yeah the entire set! But unfortunately the $80,000 prize was nowhere to be found :(

If you keep on complaining and mulling about how life is being so hard on you. Then it will really be hard on you. Negative thinking always leads to negative actions which of course, leads to shitty outcomes.

No matter what your past is. Messy, heartbreak etc. That doesn't mean you MUST carry on that lifestyle into the present and future. All you have to do is,

Have faith and guts.

Faith to tell yourself that no matter how hard times maybe, things will get better. Guts to do what you think is right. As the late Steve jobs quoted:

"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something -- your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever."

Guts to fight through life's hard times and be there for the good times as well.

Life was never designed to be easy. Its always filled with challenges that will test you and sometimes, it breaks you.

But then, pick up the pieces, mend them together, keep moving and enjoy life.

You can always build a better tomorrow for yourself, If only you allow yourself to do that. No one is stopping you.

I was once an EM3 student. Shunned by people whom thought I'll never make it or even by the fact that I was an EM3 student. or a normal technical student.

Look at where I am now today. :) Though yes, I may still be young. But I promised myself that when I look back 50 years from now, I'll look back with a smile. :)

So, within days of returning to Singapore, my threadless shipment arrived from the USA! Heheh I'm a happy kid now, the T-shirts arrived just as they were illustrated on the site, the fitting, if not for me ordering a size too big, it fit perfectly, the colors are as rich and vibrant as promised and the best part, after washing, no colors ran from the tees! Amazing stuff! Will buy from them again no doubt!

I finally got to explore this much hyped about H&M store down at orchard and wow, not bad! I've eyed a few pieces of clothing that I'll get soon enough. European cuttings at uniqlo price. Why not?

Thank you Yijie for this belated birthday present! I appreciate it loads! Rock on!

Yesterday, I went over to Novena's Ssikkek Korean BBQ Buffet with my korean trip pals! We had such an awesome time chatting and especially cracking jokes and reminiscing about the trip itself! And the food was good! Darn good! But really oily! But still shiok!

After that, we went for drinks over at Timbre! Finally after so many months of wanting to go back there, I finally did that. Man I miss the live band and of course, this!:

Ahh nothing like good music, awesome friends, and an ice cold glass of Erdinger or maybe a cocktail! :)

I've been waking up super early to join Kian Kiang at the gym! Its insane getting up at 7.30 to go to the gym, but its quite good in the sense that the whole gym is practically yours to use! I'm able to train more specific muscle groups!

And I've received my track results! and I got into business! fuck yeah! After doing IT for so long now, its time for a change!and school is just two weeks away. :(

I just gotten back my school examination results! I must say that this is not what I expected. Don't get me wrong now, My results have exceeded all my initial guesses and I'm very surprised but pleased at my results. Its probably the only semester so far I did this well.

I'm grateful for my results and I'll work to improve next semester as well :)

Well the holidays have been going super well so far! Travelled all the way to beautiful korea and made so many awesome new pals! Even now I'm still suffering from SWS (Seoul Withdrawal Symptoms)! HAHA Ben made that up! Everyone is still suffering from that as well!

Did reasonably well for the exams, met up with awesome pals.

But then again I blew a HUGE chunk out of my savings and thank god I'm going back to work tomorrow! Time to start earning back that cash I've spent and start saving for driving! I hope to get my license by the end of next year!

One of the things still miss from korea badly is this

Made to golden crispy perfection, butter cream spread generously onto one side and pure chocolate on the other. What I get is this golden perfection with its delicious smell wafting into my nose, This waffle is the best waffle I ever had the luxury of sinking my teeth into. My PEM and michelle bought the apple cream version which also has butter cream on one side and Apple sauce with chunks of apple on the other. That was so damn bloody good as well.

Now I know why all the Koreans in that stall look so contended. HAHA if I ever go back to Korea, I'm coming back for this again.

No waffle in Singapore can ever ever beat this!

This korea study trip along with 35 awesome people was indeed Somewhere only we know :)

Reality

Going to korea was not just some holiday.

It was a holiday from work, stress, heartbreaks and the other stuff you would normally associate with life. Being thousands and thousands of kilometers away from all that, separated by a vast ocean. Everything you see, touch, smell is different.

And together with friends with all the fun and laughter, all those troubles seem to all fade away and not once did i think about anything back home, except occasionally thinking how my family was doing back home.

When I came back, all of life's lemons slowly begin to creep up from the sides. Work schedule is out, school results in a few days time, etc.

I now understand why so many people like to travel overseas. To get far far away from all these lemons.

But it isn't all that bad, There's still plenty of fun left for the holidays too!

And as for those lemons, time to make some lemonade with it ;)

Can't wait to leave on a jet plane to god knows where again.

KOREA

The five days I've spent in korea was the most amazing thing I'll ever do this year no doubt, There is just so much to talk about korea!

From the culture to the food! I can just rave on and on about it but for the convenience of my readers I'll try to keep this short.

For me, it was the first time in my life I've ever taken a plane or enter Changi Airport's transit area! Growing up, there was always this air of curiosity and mystery behind that glass window where two policemen stood. I always wondered what was in there and I finally got to see it! Sitting on the plane was really exciting as well! and Korean air's service, entertainment and food is not bad too!

Upon stepping out of Incheon Airport @South korea the first I felt was a cold breeze! The weather over there is mad awesome in the mornings with temperatures hovering around 17 to 20 degrees if I'm not mistaken, but it gets quite warm in the afternoon and then the temperature drops slightly in the evening and its pretty cold at night! My kind of weather!

The resort that I checked into was actually a ski resort but since it was still Autumn, there wasn't any snow! Bummer! But the rooms are huge and more than enough for a family of four to sleep comfortably. AND I LOVE THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM!

The Food that we ate, be it proper meals or street food was mad awesome! Korea really lives up to its food reputation and they really like beef and pork! and Hey I love it too! It makes experiencing korea even better!

Shopping, now word of advice to all those planning to a korea mainly for shopping, bring alot of korean won! Like seriously a buttload of it if you want to bargain like siao over there because all their stores will be more than happy to give you a discount when you pay by cash. The most fun part about shopping in korea is trying to bring the price down as low as possible while you attempt to speak korean while using your hand gestures get a discount!

Korea is a beautiful place indeed, it has alot of hills and mountains that are almost everywhere! The night streets are brightly lit with advertising and lights and the cars are pretty unique in terms of design! I like their police cars! Seoul especially has alot of history and when we visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace, it was simply breathtaking and majestic!

The locals are really friendly as well!

Man I'll miss korea! Especially the activites I did with all my new friends from laughing to all the cold jokes during those long bus journeys, swatting hornets away while having lunch, midnight gatherings at various rooms to have even more fun into the morning especially at "Casino 731 and 719" the bowling tournament and so so much more!

Its really and experience of a lifetime! Why? You can travel the world no doubt about that, but the experience is unforgettable with an awesome bunch of friends with you as well!

I will be most happy to join the next study trip! well till then,

I've recently caught the flu bug! of all the items to catch when I'm about to fly off! I hope to get better before the flight!

I went over the the Gaming Convention at the expo with mak to check out all the cool and awesome upcoming games plus a few competitions here and there! Pretty entertaining I'd say! and I caught a first hand look at battlefield 3 and it looks mad awesome! Its so sad that its release date is October 25th! When school starts, it comes out. Sigh, life! But I'll pre-order it later anyway!

I caught the movie Smurfs with my bros over @Iluma and it was not bad actually! Its a reccomended show for the casual weekend gathering as it provides quite a fair bit of entertainment and humour! 7.5/10 stars!

I went back to school for my final briefing for the korean trip that's coming up this coming monday. I'm so excited about the trip! The tour guided handed the final version of the itinerary, as I read through the list, I made mental notes of things I want to do there!

One that tops the list is to look up into the night skies and see hundreds if not thousands of shimmering stars that look like little diamonds encrusted onto a black velvet backdrop. As the resort is situated at the bottom of a mountain, I have high hopes for this to happen!

I'm so curious of what I'll see and experience over there, thousands of kilometers away from home where everything's different! Culture, scenery, people, weather....I guess its the adventurer in me that wants to just get out and see what this particular part of this world has to offer.

Its only recently I realised how faith can change a person in so many wonderful ways. Well I myself know it already but have only recently seen for myself. Ah, I hope to return to the Church at city hall to once again hear the angelic voices of their choir.

Ever since Veronica brought me there during good friday about 3 years back, I've been hooked to their singing. Now this ain't no ordinary choir, when they sing, I was just drawn and captivated by the melodic and ever so soothing sounds.

I remember leaving that church feeling all warm and fuzzy and motivated. I hope to go back there soon. That choir really is amazing.

and I really want to go back to timbre and knock back a few brews and listen to some good music! I keep saying I want to go back but never found the chance to go yet. :(

Since the holidays are here in full force, why not take time and focus on playing the guitar? So I've done another video cover on The Killer's hit single, Mr brightside! I love the designs and the extremely vibrant and rich colours that they use for their items! I was simply wowed! I can't wait for my shipment to arrive. Its hard to find clothing of such quality and design in Singapore, well there are places that sell similar items but want us to sell our right kidney and maybe 2 fingers to buy a tee! HAHA

Buying from the US now is cheap and good too! I plan to buy more when their next sale begins! Amazing stuff.

So after waiting for a few months, I've taken my FTT and I've passed it! But I almost didn't make it for the test. A miracle happened and enabled me to sit for the test! So now all I've left is to start saving up for my practical lessons and book that TP test so that I can pass and curse and swear at every other driver that pisses me off in true Singaporean fashion HAHA.

So! With my exams down and my FTT down. I'm free of any other tests or exams or anything that is related to studying! Now I can focus on my holidays! Mum seems pretty excited that I'm off to the land where they make kimchi and sad sad dramas as she excitedly passed me some spending cash to use over there.

Korean Won looks kinda funny to me. It could be maybe because of the ridiculous denominations printed on the notes! I have 80000 won! Sounds good! In reality that will only buy you the doorknob of a house actually. I'll still have to change more money to spend over there.

I have this sudden urge to bring my guitar to the seaside to play. You know easy going songs from the likes of Jason Mraz and music similar to his style while listening to the waves crash onto shore while in the company of a few pals :)

I took 2 weeks off from work that starts from today! Korea's gonna eat up one week and I'll have the other for myself! :D

Oh and that new H&M store at orchard is finally open! I really think that they might be the next uniqlo! I can't wait to check out what apparel they have to offer! But I'll stay away from there for at least a week. Now the store is probably overrun by people scrambling to buy first. I like to buy my stuff at my own leisurely pace, not fight world war 3.

Oh yes! The holidays are here finally!. I get to get some real rest time from the incredibly hetic poly life to actually get more than 3 hours of sleep and have fun as well!

The holidays are jam packed with so much things to do! Work, being out and about, fun in the sun, working out and of course the main event, KOREA! damn I can't wait to go there!

So I started my holidays with my poly classmates as we went to Universal Studios Singapore. Its my fourth time there! haha -.- but I'll always love Battlestar Galactica and we all took a ride picture which is hilarious! Not just our poses but pay attention to the people sitting behind us AHHAHA

We all had fun :)

Went back to pasir ris to find Mak and Bryan to catch up with them as they studied for tier coming exams.

and I'll be taking my FTT later and going to work after that -.- I hope I pass this FTT man. The next reschedule is in November for gods sake!

Yes like finally! Two more papers and I'll get poly out of my hair the the next 1.something months! I can feel the sunburn already!

I guess its good to say that I've studied more than I would have usually this semester. Not too sure how will that pan out tomorrow or as of now, later!

I've come to regret opportunities that i missed quite some time ago. Due to rash thinking and decision making, Its only now when i think of it, i realized how stupid i was last year. I've not felt regret for a long time now and shit sucks man. So many chances, a possibly better scenario and I squandered it all.

Sigh

But I'm thankful for a friend that was there to listen to my rants. I hardly rant nowadays but this, I just had to rant about it!

Another year older

Well here I am again, blowing out the candles to signify that I am indeed old. HAHA man! 20 years old! Where the hell did the past 20 years go too?! Time travels so so so fast! and that front number has indeed finally changed to 2.

So I celebrated with secondary school pals with the usual annual steamboat at my house! Its only a shame that three people couldn't come! never mind there's always Christmas to look forward too! Had a good time catching up with pals I've not seen in a long long time and we all had an awesome time! Thanks guys for the cake! We of course had alot of drinks after the steamboat! Still got that alcoholic in me! HAHA

and Dad gave me a huge surprise! I've not received a gift from him for years now and I came back home to this sitting on my bed! (I thought it was a bomb after reading the note HAHA)

after opening it. Oh my fucking god! a guitar amp! I am so hyped about this! I guess my dad being a guitarist as well knows what his son wants.

I was with my cousins at fish and co and we were chatting away about life's happenings, and it dawned on me how much all three of us had grown up, I still remember back in the 90's we were all young, we had fun together, playing catching with each other while laughing almost everyday in fact and we had so much energy and enthusiasm for everything!

With imaginations as high as the sky and beyond we had the best fun a child could ever have. Not to mention competing to see who grew taller everytime we saw each other. Now fast forwarding to present, everyone is talking about getting a house, how some people can make butterflies and symphonies play in their minds HAHA .

And my parents too. I've still have faint memories of my "toddlerhood" aka wee litte boy back in my old pasir ris home when dad had HUGE framed specs and mum cooked the best mee goreng and pumpkin porridge. When i looked up at them, they towered over me while tugging onto the side of their clothing.

and then fast forward to present day, I've an annoying little sister but thankfully she's growing into a somewhat sensible girl.I'm taller then my dad and mum and their hairs, especially dad are slowly greying out, mum still cooks the best mee goreng in singapore and they have high hopes for me and my sister.

There are 20 years worth of memories, of trials and tribulations and good times that I hold close to me. And now the mysteries of being a 2o-something year old are about to unfold.

The time of my life has just begun!

Well shit, financial paper shot me in more ways a killer could. Mind bending questions, really tricky numbers sealed the fate of my first paper. If Its any consolation, alot of people left the room praying for moderation and to god HAHA.

Man I study so hard for this and it ends in squat. Ah that's poly education for you. Man I hope that moderation is good man. Don't want to take this godforsaken module again.

Well on the brighter side of life, I've paid for it and it happens 21 days! I'm going to korea! Land of alot of kimchi and Kpop. Haha oh my god, first time sitting on an airplane, first time traveling so far out from Singapore and for the first time, I'll see amazing scenery and its culture during this coming 5 day trip! I can't wait! Anybody wants anything? :p

This semester's study break is so short compared to the previous breaks. With only 7 offical days to study for the first paper, 3 days now remain and this time round, the first paper is the hardest. Well for me its the hardest.

Financial management.

Ahhh the mere mention of that word and I cringe abit. I've really been focusing only on this subject and been neglecting the other subjects! But this is the one I have the most problems with. These past few days have been hell. Trying to grasp the concepts and formulas. Well on the bright side, I managed to get like 60% of what is to be tested. Sort of. My god I'm so scared I'll fuck this paper up! hell I don't want to retake this goddamned module!

Well I'll continue to study hard and hope everything comes out alright!

Welll enough of school stuff. I went for another one of those Last man standing buffets with kk and joe! This time round it was at nihon mura. I think that's how you'd spell it! and it's become one of my absolute favorite place to eat jap buffet. Why? The menu is so so much more diverse than sake's! Meaning they have more varieties (Chicken floss sushi fuck yeah!) and get this! Free flow of drinks! Though its a tad more expensive than sake, I don't mind it! Is all worth it and the food coma that comes after that!

After waiting for nearly a month, finally fiber internet is installed into my home! and it is blazing fast! imagine downloading an entire blu ray movie in minutes and after more than 8 years, I finally have a home phone because of this! and I get a free laptop as well to replace my soon to die laptop! I'm going down to somewhere in chinatown to collect it tomorrow!

Oops I said I'd blog a few days ago but now I've only started. Well blame in on school work and work then. FINALLY EBAPJ, the major project of this semester is nearing its end. As of now, we have just compiled and readied the report. Now, only the final presentation stands in our way!

When I went back to school today to do the finishing touches, I saw teams get shot down, encounter technical problems...basically it was a war zone and at 9.30 am on wednesday, its going to be no different. GAME FACE LETS DO THIS.

I've suddenly hit those points in time when suddenly, I don't know what I want presently. What do I want to do? Will I be able to? why is this person? what will happen? what why when who what. All swirling in my mind. I was preoccupied with thoughts like this for the past 3 days. Not really too sure why suddenly I had these thoughts invading my mind.

But its all good now. I guess I got a little side tracked. Don't let something bog you down for too long. You'll miss the sunshine and roses if you do that. ;)

The date is the 2nd of august. The school calendar shades the dates after the 1st of September a bright shade of purple. That purple means my freedom. I have exactly 30 days to go before the semester comes to an end.

But these 30 days aren't going to be easy. The school is going to make sure that they've made me suffer enough till they let me go. hahaha

BUT HEY! The final stretch is in sight! Projects are starting to end, past year papers are starting to fly all over the place and I'm probably gonna be studying overnight at the airport for financial management.

and after that! HOLIDAYS! This coming holidays is probably going to be the most fun! I'm scheduled to go to korea! and I'm starting to make a mental list of where i want to go in singapore. eat, gym gym gym and haiyah work work work! I want to go to the huge lotus like museum @ MBS, the bio diversity museum and possibly bird park (Yes I've not been there before. For those people thinking I'm some huge mountain turtle) and god knows where the wind will take me!

Anyone wants to tag along? I promise you, it'll be an eye opener ;)

Sunburnt smiles

Its been awhile since I've blogged! Well because of work and the impending doom of a shitload of deadlines and a dreaded exam! But I will definetly squeeze in abit of time for my own!

Went for midnight supper with the PLR gang @ changi village after having a really shitty day at school just because of a pmsing whore of a teacher. tsk.

We had nasi lemak and after that, drove to a spot where we could see planes fly dangerously close above us as they land and a view of the sea with the stars shining in the night skies! ahhh bliss. Went home to sleep for about like 3 hours before going to the long planned, longed postponed, overdue sentosa trip with my bros and pals!

Although it was a saturday, it was surprisingly and pleasantly almost crowd free. We suntanned, built sand sculptures that we ourselves don't know what the hell we created LOL. Swam and of course just sitting by the shoreline to hear the waves crash onto shore! ah it was a saturday well spent! and of course every one is now sunburnt! oh and I watched the sun set slowly into the horizon. It was beautiful and it kinda brought me back all the way to last September. :)

Man I love my tan. Golden brown like um brownies hahaha.

After going to sentosa, I suddenly want to going back to the 3DDs hidden patch of paradise. The three of us used to always come to this unspoilt part of changi to unwind and relax and reflect back in the ITE days. I miss that place.

and I've finally built my new PC! It blew a bleddy big hole in my wallet but it was all worth it once I powered it on! Battlefield 3, I'm ready for you! ;)

Went to this rather nice restaurant during those long extended school lunch breaks. Can you guess where is this bought from? Hint, its from J8.

Songs can motions variety of emotions and memories! Some of it would be our "Head Bang" song! When we hear it we just can't stop dancing to it or air guitar or whatever that you do. Some songs remind you of a place you've once been too, or would like to visit someday!

or songs that remind you of times with your pals as you spend the carefree days of youth laughing and talking about stupid things and laughing over even more stupider things! LOL

and there is the song that reminds you of that one person. Be it past, present or future. There will always be so so many songs that you will be able to relate too when it comes to this. But there always be this 2 or 3 songs that when you listen, it takes you all the way back to back then. It can take you back months back or even years back, it could be the sweetest memory or it could be the most heartbreaking one.

Isn't it ironic? That its the sweetest love songs that tells the most heartbreaking stories.

As you play that song, your memories of back then with that person starts playing out like an old film. With or without sound? well that depends on how well you remember it.

Thats why I love music. Its the voice of our souls when we cannot express what we feel verbally. It pumps emotions into your mind sometimes with a hint of nostalgia. I cannot think how can a person live without music!

Majestic sights & Dramatic Moments

So! On Thursday, I decided to go to the KTM railway one last time before its all gone. Along with JK mak YJ Christ and ZC! It was kind of a last minute thing but ah but being spontaneous sometimes yields pleasant outcomes!

We started from where we stopped previously. Which was at the bukit timah station where if continued would land us at bouna vista! So off we went! I must say that this route is as beautiful and in some places more beautiful than the Bukit Timah Route. The sun was slowly setting during our walk and at some places, the sun shone beautifully through the trees and the grass glowed with sunlight.

It was truly an amazing sight! And we took time to explore around the area! We found an old house which I couldn't get up too!

So we walked, talked and laughed and of course took pictures and walking slowly to bouna vista in the setting sun. In my opinion, this is a fitting end to my exploration of the soon gone KTM railway. Although its sad that i couldn't fully explore the 26Km line. Due mainly to school.

I'm grateful to have a look back at history and walk the path that has not been walked on before. I've seen this amazing part of singapore where there is nothing but nature and peace. But in a nutshell. This is an experience that even if I wanted too experience again, I can't.

After that! We had to climb a hill to get out of the tracks which was loads of fun and pretty dangerous now that I recall haha! And we went over to clementi for BOTAK JONES!

And I've replaced my dying earphones with this!

Although I've always been a fan of Audio Techs and Sennheisers, I decided to try this brand as it had the much talked about ribbon cables! And I'm pleasantly suprised with the quality and sound for the price I paid for this! and I need not worry about tangling up my earphones and taking centuries to get them untangled thanks to the black "Mee pok" cables that they use! Its virtually impossible to tangle them! I'll be adding this to my list of favorites!

While waiting the the N service to come, There was drama at the Singapore river! Some dude jumped into the singapore river! And there were so many police cars, ambulances and firetrucks!

It came out in the news today that the person who jumped in, drowned in the river. So sad.

Oh my god. My business communications teacher wants to recommend me to her friend who's working at 987FM! Oh my god! I wonder where will this take me!

SO! Working over the weekend, met up with my bros for bowling after work. Well I didn't play but I played pool instead!

Its been awhile since I've sat on a beach just relaxing and unwinding. I really need that. Thank god I'm going to do that next next Saturday @ sentosa! Can't wait.

History soon gone

"Sha Sha Sha Sha" That was all you could hear. The sound of us walking on the gravel. And the sounds of nature and life teeming all around us. I felt totally disconnected from Singapore. Where I stood I saw this:

I've never seen anything so peaceful and beautiful in singapore before. It didn't even look like singapore. And for the first time in my life, I walked on train tracks freely without a worry about any trains. The old KTM line closed a few days ago and it was all ours to roam, explore and appreciate.

The KTM line was built since the 1920s, so you could say that we were walking on tracks full of history. We passed by so many old train structures such as bridges, signals and crossings. Bridges were the highlight. We took tons of pictures on the bridge alone!

As this railway line is seriously old, nature has taken over parts of it and it was full of insects and animals I've never ever seen before!

I really didn't regret coming to visit this little known part of singapore. It is really sad that singapore might develop it into private housings or some other stuff. I do hope that petition to save this railway line and turn it into a park connector gets passed on successfully.

I already miss it. I'm planning to go there one last time but a different route before it all closes. Anyone wants to tag? haha

I want to appreciate this untouched heritage of Singapore as much as I can before it becomes nothing but a mere memory.

The irony is that I promised I took you to explore places like this. Irony can be so twisted at times eh?

The milestone

I've achieved something today that really blows my mind. Ten THOUSAND views on my guitar covers! Holy shit. I never thought I reach this milestone that fast!

It takes passion. People in this world get to where they want to be because passion drives them. It fuels the very core of their souls and drives them to places they never thought was possible.

My passion for guitar has taken me here. And its not the end! There is still so much to learn! see and do! and My house is welcoming a piano sometime in the near future.

I will defintely give that a go!

And in other stuff, I collected all 6 cups form macdonals leh! Siao siao! Hahaha I'm so singaporean. :p

The performance

So a few days ago, my Poly friend invited me to perform for them on my guitar at thier graduation ceremony. She somehow found my soundcloud and heard my guitar covers!

At first a I was a little hesitant. This would be the first performance I'll ever give to a live crowd in my entire life. Well you live only once. So I eventually agreed to it. And I never regretted that decision!

That heart racing pounding feeling when I walked up the stage and stare at the crowd before sitting down with my guitar. All eyes were on me. And I began my performance. At the end, the crowd's applause rang through my stunned mind. It was head spinning man. I did it!

My very first live acoustic performance.

I never thought I'd get this far with my guitar-ing honestly. This feeling's just so surreal.

From this, I've gained invaluable experience and met tons of new people including a few that play the guitar too! I had fun sitting down with them during the break for a short acoustic session, singing and playing the guitar!

In short. This experience was amazing and would definitely be one of the highlights for this year!

After getting slaughtered literally by our project teacher along with the other teams, Its time for term break! Fuck yeah, 14 days of fun, stupid projects and most importantly, rest.

What better way then to start the holidays by attending the PLR chalet! Had so much fun catching up with all my ITE classmates laughing, playing mahjong, drinking, PS3, movies etc. Unfortunately, very few pictures were taken!

Watched X-Men: First Class on the first night! It was Fantastic! One of the best superhero movies I've seen! The storyline is spot on, characters are awesome and believable and the effects are boom! What can I say? If you've yet to watch it, do it now! 9/10 stars!

We did things a little bit more differently when it came to BBQ night, We had zhu chao first followed by a small BBQ and more mahjong. I'm surprised that even after more than 6 months of not drinking tons of hard liquor, I can still hold pretty well! haha

But in the end. I had tons of fun with the PLR and hope to see another chalet next year!

I bought myself a new watch as my old casios strap broke and its impossible to replace. Sigh sadded. At least this watch can withstand the wear and tear especially when I exercise!

And I got to play monopoly with my secondary school pals! Man we had such an awesome time!

Only the first 3 days of my holiday! Who knows what the next 11 days has in store!

Phew! As I type this, I'm hot and sweating as I just came back from night jogging! Ah I feel a tad more refreshed but even more tired at the same time HAHA

For starters, I've got my Iphone 4! well everyone has one so no biggie on that. Jailbroke it, gave it a rad looking case with smashing theme to match it! Obviously, I'm impressed with everything about 4. An amazing camera, display, touch screen blah blah blah. Its probably the most bang for buck phone you could possibly get on the market! Took some pictures with it and a picture of the jailbroken theme that I managed to install!

and finally! 2 more days to the end of term 1. 8 chaotic weeks of school and work just whizzed by me. Its a good thing too! I'm looking forward to the annual legendary PLR chalet! Its gonna be a crazy start to a 2 week holiday! Can't wait! But alas. Projects projects projects.

I seriously wonder why does the school bother to call it a holiday? When you spend 75% of it doing reports and googling the web endlessly for answers.

Should just call it "Hahaha time to do your projects week" or something

Okay I'll update further later in the day. As of now, I had only 3 hours of sleep and still managed to go work and so my school work. I have no idea how the hell I'm still able to type.

Wow its been a long time since I've updated my blog! Well I can blame that on the ever increasing amount of work that comes in! and miraculously, I've found this small frame of free time to update it abit!

Well apart from school, Met up with my bros for that really long overdue mahjong session over at Wilson's crib! Its really nice to sit down with all of em to catch up and huat!

Also! happy birthday to Joe! You old old man! We held a surprise celebration for him during our weekly bowling meetups!

Might be going rounding this week with the PLR gang! and I'm gonna change my aging Iphone 3GS into a 4! yes ah!

But that dilemma of either getting it in black or white is still plaguing me though.

So I came back home from school, ate my dinner, rested awhile and I'm off for the usual weekly rounding with the PLR gang and friends!

This time round, it was more fun! when we first started doing rounding, we only had 2 or 3 cars. This week one we had EIGHT cars joining the pack!

Going fast and going places! Everyone met at the usual spot at yishun dam before heading of to the first stop! The abandoned cemetery. It was my second time there and it wasn't that scary as before because there was quite alot of people burning joss sticks. But nevertheless, we drove in.

As we drove in deeper, there were lesser people around until there was nothing but darkness and tombstones surrounding us. We did a round before heading on to Marina Barrage.

Always my favorite place to go late into the night. So so damn relaxing. After that, we went for some Carls Jr at the big splash before heading home!

Yes, I know the quality is shit. But not for long though. I'll soon be able scratch of that one last thing that I aim to get this year. A DSLR! YES!. Finally I'll be able to take photos like the ones on my blog's main picture!

I've said before I wanted to get a NEX5, but after some consideration and researching. My final desicion would be this beauty:

Why? well if you're gonna buy a DLSR, you might as well get something that looks like one instead of a digital camera. This one gives me 3 times of what NEX can give me and still cost the same.

I'm sold man! I hope to be able to get it during the upcoming IT fair in june, where they always give a shitload of goodies and shit like that.

Well how about that? its only halfway into the year and I've already almost gotten everything I promised myself I would get.

What next? a driving license?

Weekend happenings

The weekend was filled literally to the brim with so much activities!

Starting with the weekly rounding trips with the PLR Gang! Traveling by car to places all over Singapore in the middle of the night, finding places to lepak and maybe a round of supper!

This week , we went quite a number of places, from a short "Race" at the tight corners near Kent Ridge park to the amazing view of Henderson waves and a few other places!

The next day I reported for work with less than 4 hours of sleep. But thankfully, I managed to pull through all the way! After work, I met my bros at Safra for the weekly bowling sessions too! and I played my best game in years or probably my entire life! 5 strikes in one game! and I'm finally catching up with joe too!

By the time I reached home, it was already nearing 4 and I have to get up 8+ in the morning to go the main event of the week!

ZOO! Went with part of the PLR gang. I must say that after almost 10+ years since visiting the zoo, it has changed alot. The exhibits are now more beautiful and a few new animals have been added too! Shall let the pictures tell the rest of the story:

After zoo, we all went for dinner at this koptiam at buki batok and MY FUCKING GOD. It sells the best hokkien mee, apart from the one at tampines. I was sad when I finished it! Man! some good of the best food in Singapore are so far away!

Well that's another incredibly eventful weekend as always. Everyone's been talking about future trips to the other parks like bird park and night safari and so so much more!

Deep words, empty meaning

I have a very very good business communication teacher, but her methods of communicating with the class is lets just say....unconventional and sometimes cringe-worthy. BUT she's one of the best teachers I've come across in my poly life so far. Its really hard to find teachers with such motivation, passion and dedication to teach.

So, the ever hyper business communications teacher, was again sharing a shitload of stuffs, she said something that struck something somewhere in my mind.

"Weasel words, now what are weasel words?" she asked. With the usual haaaaaah?!

She then explained:

Weasels are animals that eat eggs, but instead of breaking open the shell to slurp up its contents, it makes a small hole at the top and slurps it all up! Leaving nothing but an empty shell. From far, the egg looks like any normal egg, but upon closer inspection, the egg is nothing but an empty shell.

Hence, the term, "Weasel words", When you use words to express something or to say something. But it has no meaning to it.

Hot Hot HOT. My goodness the recent heatwave is really intense man! Thankfully this morning's early shower helped cool the weather at least for awhile. This ice cream helped too!

It was a friday night out with the PLR Gang! Met up with aaron and mak for fast and furious 5.

GO AND WATCH FAST & FURIOUS 5! IT IS SO ABCDJLKSAFJL:AGHA AWESOME.

Seriously, the 4th one disappointed me, but number 5 amazed, impressed and simply floored me. Not just me but every single patron sitting in that theater.

Its Action packed, funny, Filled with a solid story, fast cars and one hell of a thirst for speed.

I cannot stress how much I enjoyed this movie. YOU MUST GO WATCH! YES YOU! THE FREQUENT READER OR THAT STALKER THAT READS MY BLOG FOR REASONS I RATHER NOT KNOW.

11 out of 10 stars! I must get the Blu-ray for this!

After that, we met with the rest of the PLR gang for another midnight joy ride! To macs at AMK followed by a lepak session over at Yishun Dam. As it was my first time at Yishun Dam, I find it really awesome to lepak man!

All the way till the wee hours of the morning and as a result, 3 hours of sleep before heading off to work. My god I was like a dead zombie. But it was worth it!

So after a month long hiatus from work, I'm back working over the weekend for that extra moolah. Started of quite positive though. Because of that GST rebate package, my sales skyrocketed for 2 days straight. Too bad I have school if not it could have been more!

White Iphone is out and the Ipad two too! people have already been flocking to get accessories for those two, and I managed to put an Ipad screen protector for the ang moh customer flawlessly. Probably the hardest item to do a screen protector for!

School's been alright so far.

That's the keyword. So far. HAHA

oh and I've recorded a new cover for Katy Perry's Teenage dream! One of my favorite songs and one of my better covers to date!

I know what is it like to change just because of that special someone. I've seen the fruits of it, and I've seen the very evil of it.

People sometimes change for the better because of love. Or they just become another person. A shattered image of their former self. And the sad part is,

They don't realise it.

Because when things go the way you hope it'd go, definitely there's nothing much to worry about.

But what if it doesn't? and then you snap yourself out of your spell and realise what you've become, not only does it affect you but you may have wronged a few people while you had your head so high in the clouds.

By then its too late to fix the damage done entirely.

The question is, what will you be willing to sacrifice just to be with that one truly special one?

Sure I'll hear responses like "Anything" "Not everything" "Why should I?" "I think you very bo liao leh"

Tell me who wouldn't? Especially when your heart is telling you "Godammit what the fuck are you waiting for? Do something before she walks away with someone else". Every fiber of your being just aching to see her smile, contended and happy.

Because yes, being with the one you love is an amazing thing. But remember keep your two feet on the ground and head out of the clouds. Thats something that I myself and many of the people out there fail to acknowledge.

I visited my grand uncle's home at katong. Its at the 12th floor and my god, his home has the most fantastic view! A stunning view of the east coast and marina area! and the best part is that his apartment is a normal HDB flat! An HDB with such an amazing view!

The next one was tucked away in a small corner of siglap. It was one of those shophouses type of apartments. Man, I wouldn't mind living in such a house. Although this one looked abit run down, if full renovated and all. This place would be the ultimate home. The surroundings are peaceful and you feel disconnected from Singapore. The atmosphere is amazing!

With all these amazing houses. I wonder if I'll be able to own something amazing like these two houses next time.

So must study hard.

But also study smart lah. haha!

Weekend out

SO! Good Friday! I'd like to wish all my christian and catholic friends and of course, friends a very blessed good Friday and Easter Sunday!

Of course, I got up real bloody early to attend the first mass over at Holy Trinity. Although this is the only time I ever go to church. I always leave the church feeling at peace and happy. Its like some positive glow radiating all over! Well, I hope my prayers are answered!

Went for a midnight movie with Mak and Aarron to watch Source Code! No, its not about JAVA but rather something like Inception but not as mind twisting as it. Although the story is quite predictable as it progresses. Its overall a good movie! 4.5/5 stars!

I spent Saturday out at town! From plaza sing, we walked all the way to tangs and in that process, walking EVERY mall in between and then back to PS. Mak introduced this really awesome beef with rice meal which was Awetastic! Another makan place found!

While walking the entire orchard strip. I saw quite a few stuff that I wanted to get. So I made mental notes to get it when my next pay check arrives. I wanted to get something from the grand cathay! but when I got there, the bloody shop closed down! Fuck man! Sigh, but I'll keep a lookout for it elsewhere.

After that, bowling with my bros and supper! Ended the day at 4AM.

Week 1

Week one of year 2 is almost over!

Apart from DBMS and Financial Management which I think will be hell, I find my other modules a rather interesting especially Business Environment and E Business applications.

As always, week one goes at a rather relaxed pace. The storm is about to come and its gonna hit hard!

We have lessons at the business block! YES AH. That means......I can eat the really awesome and cheap yong tau foo for lunch. You pile a bowl of random stuff sky high and pay less than $4 bucks for the meal. Full, delicious and satisfying!

On a separate note, good Friday is around the corner! Time to go to the church and as my friends always say,

"You go church hallelujah ah!"

Back to Hell

As always, holidays always seem to really and literally fly past me and before I know it, school starts tomorrow and I'm here bitchin about it.

But at least I spent my 2nd last day really well. It was sorta like a reunion with my bros as everyone has not seen everyone for a really long time and we all sat down @ Seoul Garden for the usual "Free for all last man standing wins" dinner and good conversation.

It was wilson's treat as we celebrated his belated birthday! Thanks wilson!

Everyone was in a food coma! HAHA man the feeling of eating so full is so awesome yet regrettable at the same time!

So we found the strength to push ourselves out of the chair and walked to safra for bowling and pool! We played till closing which is like 3AM and wilson used $10 to catch at least 7 soft toys from the machine. Pro man. Everyone enjoyed themselves!

If you ask me, its a fitting end to the holidays. :)

The rest of the holidays were really well spent too! working to earn that extra dough. Improved my guitaring....

Going to ulu fish farms to fish, to buy fish and gawk at fish. Fit into a cab meant for 4 people with 6 people in it already.

Midnight supper and crazy car rides to abandoned cemeteries and marina barrage and places I can't mention here HAHA.

Oh Watched a few movies during this period as well. The best one and quite possibly the most fun and awesome show I've watched this year is RIO!

It's such a fun and vibrant story! Hilarious too! They used alot of vivid colours in this film and really awesome Brazilian music! I cannot stress enough that while its still screening in theaters, GO WATCH IT. 9.6 out of 10 stars!

Well! Thats about it, I'm about to go back to 18 weeks of pure hell. Projects are gonna start piling sky high, I'm gonna be learning Financial Management which involves maths which I suck at.

BUT! I'm proud to be a year 2 student. Its time to buckle up and jump into the fray!

Went down to DTE to celebrate my poly classmate's birthday and at the same time, a class chalet at the same time as well. A light drizzle thankfully didn't stop the BBQ.

Brought the dudes for a walk in the Mangrove and Pasir Ris park. The bright moon lighted the otherwise pitch black mangrove. It was quite beautiful to see the moonlight peeking though the trees.

Had tons of fun at Pasir Ris Park. Especially spinning JY in the huge blue dish and watch him tumble around in it HAHA.

My new timetable is shit. Literally shit. But the other classes diplomas have equally shitty or if not, even worse timetables. So everyone is in this crazy, hellish new semester together.

I did another video! Since my bro crashed at my house, why not? Hahaha the ending is really hilarious!

Slowly, I'm learning more and more new songs. Good what, Can serenade that special someone next time. ;)

PAY DAY's here! But not before some stupid cock up with UOB's iBanking system! I can finally get some new threads and an mp3 player! I'll get it before school starts! After that, slowly save for DSLR!

Man! Today's thunderstorm was the most ferocious I've seen in months! maybe years! The rain cleared up a little when I was walking back home after gym. The setting sun peeked out of the clouds with half the skies still being lit up with lighting. Quite the spectacle.

I love walking outside after it has rained. Its cold and the surroundings always seems to be a little bit more peaceful and the world seems to have more contrast.

I've finally found the perfect bag for my new guitar! It offers awesome protection from bumps and blind people bumping into me or me bumping into people. Has a nice color, although my shitty iphone camera isn't doing it much justice either.

Got a few other random stuff such as guitar polish and lemon oil and strings. Went home and really gave my guitar a clean.

Now, its locked, popped and ready to make music!

Holy shit its already Thursday! 1 week is about to go and that means only 1 week left before school starts! FFFFF- but on the bright side, payday is coming!

I've been having really weird dreams these past few nights, I dreamt of going into NS, Being in a relationship with a girl's face which i can't remember and lastly, being chased by a few armed men through some ship.

Since young, many things fascinated me. One of them was mountains. As a kid, Imagined them as places that when you reach the top, you could see or even touch space, and able to see almost everything down below. They are just so huge and majestic, it was awe inspiring!

48 hours

Phew. These past 48 hours have been nothing short of packed full with awesome and crazy stuff! Speaking of 2, My two week off day starts now right before i start school! I've gotta make these fourteen days count!

Anyway, Spent friday night with the gang over at kakhabo followed by an awesome midnight supper over at Wan Dou sek! My frigging god their fried char siews are delish and to die for!

Tau Huay, I think that's how you spell it, was next! Over at sing ming. Once we we're done, the night was still young! What to do? On to the semi abandoned graveyard and the Devils bend! But I think the bend we went through wasn't the actual one. Might go again this coming weekend!

But the graveyard was really spooky. Even with the car's highbeam on, it couldn't penetrate the seemingly black void of the graveyard. Coupled with prayer stuff scattered all around, really narrow roads with huge holes in them and of course, the tombstones and dead silence.

Went over to mak's house the next day for KINECT! I played it before during this year's CNY at my teacher's place and it left me with a really sore leg and a thirst for more. and I really got my fix! Played so many games and really enjoyed myself!

The price? A leg that I can't lift 90 degrees, two really very sore shoulders and aching sides. I walk like a robot now. HAHA but it was worth the pain! and I finally found that chicken rice stall that closed on me 7+ years ago! So happy.

Went over to my bro's chalet after that, It's been a long time since we've sat together, enjoy a ice cold glass of vodka and ice champagne and catching up with each other over BBQ satay and sambal stingray!

Hopped into WB's car after that to head on to wan dou sek again for supper followed by a night ride all the way to marina barrage to "eat wind" AHAHA man I really missed going there at 3+ in the morning to just sit there and unwind. The view is a thousand times better than in the day or evening!

Man I miss taking night shots with a DSLR. Must get one by this year!

Went over to Vivo before heading back home!

First of, I'd like to thank all my pals and people around the world whom have liked and supported my first vocal cover. I never expected the huge positive feedback from it and it was a resounding success. Thanks guys! I'll do more in times to come!

I was introducing some songs that came to my mind to my working colleague on youtube. As she wrote all of them down in order. I looked at the paper and saw this.

and I was simply awed by what came out. It actually formed a sentence. Pure coincidence? or is it just some leftover pieces ? But all i could think of is "Woah dude".

Well its always those love songs with simple and pretty words that when you can relate to it. It either tells the most heart racing story.

Or the most heartbreaking one.

So today i go up early today to help Joe's uncle to move some stuff at Ubin along with kiang today. In a nutshell. Its one of those experiences that you know that most certainly almost all your pals wouldn't go for.

But if you did. You'll come to appreciate Singapore's comfortable and sheltered life even more. In all, it was a good experience with mosquitos half the size of your pinky finger and spiders so huge. You wonder what the hell they eat to grow that big. We accidentally stepped on alot of snails today. We thought all those cracking noises were us stepping on glass. Till we looked down.

We've never been so relieved to see Singapore!

Don't get me wrong though. Pulau Ubin is an AWESOME place if you go there for recreation purposes! Oh and for some reason the Black and white photos I took came out amazing!

And I got myself a pair of sennheiser earphones! I got them at my store for a ridiculous discount. And boy it was worth every dollar and cent spent! The minute I put them on and played it for the first time. I was amazed at the quality given its original price. It matches up to more expensive brands like BOSE and Beats, sometimes sounding a tad better than the two.

And for that price, they throw in alot of goodies like a really awesome looking pouch and cable winder and also the assorted sizes of the earbuds are included. Amazing sound, with good accessories included and at a very reasonable price (About 100+ at challenger) Its probably the best earphone in this price range! I love it!

I've done my very first vocal and guitar cover today as well! It took sometime to get it right but all worth it! Its another milestone and from here I can continue to improve! I recorded a demo of a song that I'm gonna cover and sing soon. But this demo is to give listeners a taste of my singing and guitar combined together. So far all my pals that have heard it have given very positive reviews.

Well on the plus side, its a different work environment and it's challenging! Whats work with out a wee little challenge eh? but I hate getting up so early in the morning. The stupid alarm rings and you gotta peel yourself of your comfy bed. Its like this when your alarm rings.

Watching sucker punch after work with the gang later too! Oh my god man I can't wait! I hope that movie doesn't disappoint!. Speaking of movie's, I forgot to mention that I watched "I'm Number four" with the gang.

Well the talking part was a bore and given that I was REALLY damn tired on that day, I found myself struggling to keep myself awake during the talking scenes. But the action scenes help salvage the movie into an average movie. The action scenes were good!

Its number 6.8/10 Stars!

After getting my results, I feel this weight lifting off my shoulders. Which means I must do whatever the fuck I want before school starts!
